Google Drive Open with

Open with is a sub-menu that lists that applications that will open the selected document. The sub-menu will only show applications if one document is selected, and there is an application installed in your Drive account that can open it.

If you have selected a folder or a document that cannot be opened with an application you currently have, the sub-menu will have a Connect with button in the menu.

If more than one document and/or folder is selected, the list will state that there are No available apps.

1. Click the app you want to open.
2. Then click the three dots in the top-level menu. You can also right-click on the document to open the menu.
3. Highlight Open with in the menu to reveal the sub-menu.
4. Click on the desired application. The document will open in a new tab.
