Document wizards LibreOffice
Wizards are guides that assist you in creating or modifying a document or multiple documents. They are common in many office suites, and LibreOffice is no different.

It has eight of them in the Wizards sub-menu in the File menu, available in StartCenter and all six applications.
Each one takes you through a series of steps to do things, like create a template for a letter or convert a group of documents in a directory from one format to another and places them in a new directory. The wizards are as follows:

Letter
This Wizard helps you write a Business Letter, Formal personal letter, or a personal letter. It takes you through a dialog with five steps.
First select one of these three. Then choose the style from the drop-down menu.
For Business Letter or Formal personal letter:
- Elegant
- Modern
- Office
For Personal letter:
- Bottle
- Marine
- Red Line
Fax
The Fax wizard, like the Letter one, has five steps, and the first step is to choose whetherit is a Business or Personal fax.
If it is a business fax choose one of the following styles from the drop-down menu:
- Classic Fax
- Classic Fax from Private
- Modern Fax
- Modern Fax from Private
If it is a personal fax, choose one of the following items from the drop-down menu:
- Bottle
- Fax
- Marine
- Lines
Agenda
This wizard helps you create an itinerary for a meeting or a conference. It has six steps to creating a template that can be applied to future agendas. The first step allows you to setup the page design. The choices are as follows:
- Blue
- Classic
- Colorful
- Elegant
- Green
- Grey
- Modern
- Orange
- Red
- Simple
Web Page
This wizard will make one or multiple documents in a directory ready for the Web by converting them to HTML or PDF formats. There also is an option to keep them in the same file format. The PDF can be optimized for either Press or Print.
The seven-step wizard also will create a table of contents that links to each one of the documents, and it allows you to design the layout of the table of contents.
Document Converter
The wizard takes Microsoft Office documents from one directory, converts them to OpenDocument Formats, then places them in another directory. It allows you to select which type of documents you want to convert: All Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint/Publisher.
Euro Converter
This wizard takes amounts that are in currencies of different European countries to Euros. The figures can be in tables in Writer or a Calc spreadsheet.
It can convert multiple documents from a directory and place the new documents in another directory.
Address Data Source
This wizard lets you access data already present in your computer. The type of data source can be either Firefox/Iceweasel, Thunderbird/Icedove, and other external data source.
