LibreOffice gives you a lot of control over exporting a document through the PDF Options dialog. However, if you want to quickly export a document to PDF in a few clicks, LibreOffice provides a way you can do this.
The way is through the Export Directly as PDF dialog. This is only available in Writer, in the Export as sub-menu in the File menu. There is an Export item in the File menu of Writer and several other applications that has a PDF option, but after using it, it launches the PDF Options dialog.
- Click the Export Directly as PDF item in the Export as sub-menu.
- In the dialog that appears, PDF will already be in the File type drop-down menu.
- You also can give the export a new name and choose a different location.
- Click the Save button.
You will be returned to the document that you used to create a PDF.
